Dr. Elliott Bennett-Guerrero is both an educator and a vice chairman at Stony Brook Medicine. An international leader in the fields of anesthesiology and critical care medicine, Dr. Elliott Bennett-Guerrero is a Harvard-educated Medical Doctor who specializes in surgical site infection and systemic surgical site inflammation and its role in the development of medical complications. Dr. Bennett-Guerrero also investigates complications associated with blood transfusions to determine clinical techniques that emphasize safety and limit risk.
